Executive Producer Aurelio Bocanegra is an veteran who served in the US Air Force and a successful working LA comic,

Executive Producer James A. Bretney is an Iraq War veteran who produced Black Magic Barbie, Grace Period, A Paradise of Bachelors Murder and Universal Empire.


Intervention is a parody of a suburban family confronting their 20 something son "David" about his binge drinking slacker lifestyle.  Tentative shoot date is September 18, 2011 in Los Angeles.


All Roles pay copy, credit and meals.  Prospective actors should arrive in costume and must be prepared to interview as the character and improvise.   


Casting for
Dad - over 45 to 75 years old, all races, wardrobe: casual clothes of an upper income politically correct, socially liberal patriarch.  Sides are as follows:

My son has a problem. He's always drinking. Even in the house. He's constantly drunk falling everywhere.

MOM

I love him. But he can't stop. My son does drink and drive. I try and take the keys from him but he still drives. 

Lil Brother - 9 to 15 years old, all races and wardrobe of a normal but wimpy kid.  Sides are as follows:

LIL BROTHER

I just want to be able to play games with him. I've tried playing Xbox.  I've tried playing football with him 

Girl - 16 years old to 29 years old, all races and wardrobe of a good well put together attractive girl.

GIRL

It affects our intimate times. He's great to cuddle with cause he's like a log but that's it... Sure I want more 

Girl begins crying softly.

Cut to

INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

In bed with David passed out, the girl is shaking David.

I dont see a problem. Yeah we drink. As a matter of fact we partied last night. It was dope.

Congratulations!

Freaky Fast has been selected for this year's Arizona Underground Film Festival!

The screening time is Sept. 24th at 3pm.

We would need to have the presentation copy of the film for the screening by Sept. 5th, unless the copy we have is the one we can present. We will also need any stills, posters, and any other assets from the film to promote the film closer to the screening date.

We are really excited to have Freaky Fast part of this year's festival!

STUDENT DIRECTOR seeks 2 white ACTORS for THE MATRIX scene. To be shot in HD on August 30, 2011 between the hours of 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM at The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles. This is a two hour shoot. Exact time to be decided.

The Matrix - INT. Interrogation Room. No pay - Final Edit will be provided for Reel. This is a student project.




Auditions for the roles of AGENT SMITH and THOMAS A. ANDERSON/NEO to be held Monday August 8th at 4:30 PM at The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles, located at 2950 31st Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405.


ROLES:
AGENT SMITH, Caucasian Male, 30 - 40 years. Agent Smith is the antagonist in the film. He is part of a group of artificially intelligent programs known as agents. The agents are in charge of locating and deleting any programs inside the matrix that are of no use, or go rogue. They have also been charged with hunting down and destroying the prophesied hero, Neo, who will destroy the matrix. Secretly, Agent Smith hates his role as an agent and thirsts for freedom, and ultimate control over the matrix and the rest of the machine world.
Wardrobe: Suit and tie, preferably black with white shirt and black tie. Sunglasses.

THOMAS A. ANDERSON/NEO, Caucasian Male, 25 - 30 years. Thomas A. Anderson is one of billions of humans connected to the Matrix through their brains, and at the beginning of the film is unaware that the world he lives in is a virtual reality. In his legitimate activities, he is a quiet programmer for the "respectable software company" Metacortex; but he is also a computer hacker who penetrates computer systems illicitly and steals information under his hacker alias "Neo". During his time as a hacker, Anderson has learned about something known only as "the Matrix", or, the virtual reality in which he lives. During the years prior to the events of The Matrix, Anderson has spent his time trying to find the one man who he thought could tell him what the Matrix was: a supposed terrorist known only as Morpheus.
Wardrobe: Suit, preferably not black, no tie.

COMMUNITY REMEMBERS FREEDOM LOVING PATRIOTS WITH A PROCESSION AND PRAYER SERVICE

The United Art Students Forgotten Worlds Group, in association with the Santi Sa Kha Buddhist Monastery is planning procession and prayer service at 8 pm August 8, 2011 outside the offices of Senator John McCain located at 2201 East Camelback Road.  The event marks the 23^rd anniversary of the Burma Democracy Uprising.  The event is open to the public.

On August 8, 1988, the people of Burma protested the one party rule in the Socialist Republic of the Union of Burma in s series of marches, demonstrations, protests and riots called the 8888 uprising. Hundreds of thousands of ochre-robed monks, young children, university students, housewives, and doctors demonstrated against the dictator General Ne Win.  The military rulers suppressed the 8888 uprising on September 18 with the summary execution and imprisonment of thousands.

The event is open to the public.  All voices are welcome.
