Casting and Crewing up for "WTF News!"

WTF News is a news parody of the sensationalized 24 hour news cycle popularized by Fox News, MSNBC, CNN and others.   


Daniel Thompson is the creator and show runner for this show.  The intent is to pitch this show to a brand new cable network associated with Daniel Thompson.  Daniel Thompson reserves the right to broadcast this program on youtube or feature it on the film festival circuit.

Daniel Thompson is a local filmmaker.  As Director of Photography, Daniel recently wrapped principal photography for the independent comedy feature film "Inherited Insanity" starring Paul Statman.  Daniel also wrapped up a reality TV pilot for Fox networks as a Director of Photography.  He is very active in the production of numerous student and independent film projects including "A Paradise of Bachelors" and "Universal Empire" just to name a few.

Auditions will be held at Airborne Productions, Inc at a private residence located 1421 West Venice Boulevard Suite 7, Venice, California 90291. 

Pay is copy, credit and meals

Description: Kitty Shellcott is the principal antagonist. She is the classical aristocrat, consumed by ego and driven to a desire to promote herself over all other concerns. Shellcot is a feisty, obnoxious, Machiavellian prig, politically correct and an intellectual version of Nicole Kidman's Suzanne Stone in Guz Van Sant's "To Die For."

Wardrobe: Must be comfortable wearing and being photographed in a bikini. You will need to change into a bikini on the day of the audition.
